Lim Kit Siang supports “no vote no pay” remark.

DAP stalwart Lim Kit Siang claimed that PKR senator Bob Manola Mohd’s remark to Orang Asli village heads in Cameron Highlands that they will lose their salaries if they did not vote the government as acceptable as they should serve the government that pays them and not UMNO.

Lim claimed that he had listened to the MalaysiaKini audio and that there were no where no threats as he could hear it.

The issue had caused an uproar as it was reported that Bob Manola had threatened the village heads that they will lose their pay and be replaced if they did not vote for the government.

This issue is likely to give BN and UMNO the lead it needs in the Cameron Highlands by elections. Chinese dominated DAP fielded an Indian candidate Manogaran who also claimed last week that Malays did not buy Orang Asli produces which caused another uproar which later he apologised. – New Malaysia Herald
